It has a strong smell and taste due to which pests move away from the crops. Azadiractin is the primary source of the neem tree, a natural compound, extracted from neem tree seeds. It is known for its pesticide and insecticidal properties. It is biodegradable and breaks down quickly in the soil. Because of its strong smell and taste it repels the pest and disrupts its growth.
